Overall: A sign directs traffic towards Maryland Stadium, where the university is issuing mandatory COVID-19 testing. The university has administered over 27,000 tests since Aug. 19.
Overall: Maryland Stadium, where UMD's men's football and lacrosse teams typically compete, has been turned into a COVID-19 testing center. UMD-administered COVID-19 tests have found 300 positive cases since Aug. 19.

Assignment 2 - Lappas

Raj Shrestha working at a Dunkin Donuts in Olney, MD. After his shift at Dunkin Donuts, Shrestha works at a Giant in Olney.
"I've lived around College Park forever, so I just work here all the time," said Kerstan Bladen who works at Starbucks in College Park, MD.
"Between work and school, I've got plenty of stuff to keep me busy during this time," said Lorae Bonamy who works at Starbucks in College Park. Bonamy is a PhD student at the Univesity of Maryland, studying higher education.
Masked Portraits, Momeni
Senior Olivia Kraus relaxes by herself on McKeldin Mall. She spends most of her time outside and going on hikes with friends. Kraus is not sure what she will do when it gets cold, but she is considering getting into winter sports.
Throughout the pandemic, senior Kate Rush has tried to get outside as much as she can by going on early-morning runs, doing homework outside and bike riding.
Besides working at Eppley Recreation Center, senior John Andrews uses his free time filling out job applications and prepares for life after graduation.
Junior Sydnie Brown sits outside of South Campus Dining Hall. She recently transferred to UMD and finds it difficult to make connections with students and meet new people during the pandemic.
