Assignment #1, Walker

A blue ribbon adorns a tree in Tawes Plaza at the University of Maryland. The ribbon reads "RibbonsForReturn" and symbolizes support for the safe return of hostages taken by Hamas terrorists in Israel.

A squirrel sits next to a trash can at the University of Maryland. There is an abundant amount of squirrels on UMD's campus, and they are known for being fearless.

Construction workers at the University of Maryland do window repairs Tuesday morning on Francis Scott Key. The worker's equipment has sat outside the building for a week.

Two gloves lay side-by-side on a University of Maryland sidewalk next to a sprinkler head. In the past week College Park has seen below freezing temperatures and temperatures reaching 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

A sign reading, "Danger, Do Not Touch, Hot," stands outside of Carroll Hall at the University of Maryland. The sign appears to refer to nothing.
